I set this blog up a few days ago and it has been sitting empty in cyberspace, waiting for me to answer the question - what you write on the first ever blog post?

I have been writing email newsletters to guests of our tour business for some while - but I can only send an email to someone I already know about.  I am still a bit of a 'techie' at heart, so it was time to explore the new technology and see if I can access a 'wider world'.  So here I am and so too, I hope, are you my valued reader.

My plan is to chat about day to day things as they happen here in Dorset. Therefore the content of this blog will venture into such areas as gardening (especially now Spring is on the way), food (we like good food here), travels in beautiful Dorset (and occasionally beyond), green stuff and anything else diverting that comes across my path.
